Bat maternity season refreshers

Quick question from the field: after a 2 a.m. attic call last May where a homeowner sealed a soffit, I’m updating our CE and need solid materials on humane, timed bat exclusions and community outreach scripts that prevent pup entrapment — what are you using? Ideally something offering 1–2 CEUs and covering state compliance on exclusion windows.

NWCOA’s Bat Standards Certified course hits humane timing and state blackout windows and is often accepted for 1–2 CEUs — confirm with your regulator: https://nwcoa.com/training. For outreach, I print a simple line on door hangers: “We’ll install one-way exits and return after the maternity window to seal, so no pups are trapped,” and pair it with a dusk emergence count before scheduling seal-up. Which state are you in?
