After I released him, I learned he was adept at opening cabinet doors — but now he’s learned that the real treasure is in slighting us humans by raiding the pantry when we’re not looking. It was a bit of a reminder that even after rehabilitation, these clever critters always have a trick or two up their paws.
I had a raccoon that busted open my trash can too! I learned to buy a sturdy bin with a locking lid. Those little geniuses never stop surprising us!
